    Description

    We are seeking a dynamic, go-getter and team player with expertise in sales to fill the role of Regional Sales Manager. This position will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing operations, and leading a team within the specified region. The ideal candidate will possess leadership qualities, a structured approach to goal achievement, and the ability to think innovatively.

    Key Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Set and achieve assigned targets, driving revenue growth through sales across all designated territories. Products include Extended Producer Responsibilities (EPR) alongwith other compliance and sustainability solutions of Recykal.
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans and market expansion in the allocated region.
    • Manage P&L for the division within the region. Submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to HQ for review and track target vs achievements.
    • Lead and develop a high-performing sales team, overseeing recruitment, retention, and performance management.
    • Drive and ensure technology adoption across the value chain (both internal and external) to track all progress / activities on real-time or near real-time.
    • Advise and guide key clients on regulatory updates, latest industry trends and new technologies in the recycling industry.
    • Provide inputs and client feedback on product innovation and implement experimental ideas onground in partnership with clients.
    • Increase awareness and business value of the company's products and services.
    • Build a healthy sales pipeline in collaboration with the marketing team.
    • Maintain accuracy and efficacy of the sales pipeline in the CRM system.
    • Leverage customer success to expand business reach with cross-selling and upselling.
    • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify unique selling propositions.
    • Ability to analyze sales performance metrics and market expansion strategies.
    • Strong negotiation skills and customer service orientation.

    Requirements:

    • Masters degree (or MBA) from reputed institutions with minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B and enterprise sales roles.
    • Multi-sectoral experience and handling clients which are large corporations. Should have managed atleast 25 customers per annum comprising key sectors such as FMCG, automobile, pharma, chemical, ecommerce and allied sectors.
    • Should have closed sales of product or service of atleast Rs 25 crores per year with average order size of atleast Rs 50 lakhs to Rs 1 crore.
    • Strong background in sales and team management with demonstrated experience leading teams of 10-20 members.
    • Proficiency in any CRM tool such as Zoho, Salesforce, Leadsquared, etc
    • Previous experience in scaling businesses in B2C or B2B environments.
    • Experience in working with technology platforms is advantageous.
    • Knowledge of the waste management and recycling industry is an advantage. Knowledge on Environmental laws, guidelines and regulations esp related to waste management is an advantage.
    • Open to periodic travel to client locations for face-to-face meetings.
