Job Role: Principal Software Engineer

Duration: 6 Months contract

Location: Remote

Work hours – 5 hours overlap with EST work hours every day.

Job Description:

• Identify and understand technical and functional requirements from the Snowflake Ops team and other stakeholder teams.
• Design and document the high- and low-level architecture of the solution to be built.
• Development of wrappers, and operators for Snowflake operations using Golang/Java/Ruby
• Integrate developed solutions to Snowflake and other tools like AWS S3 etc.
• Develop a deployment process using Kubernetes and enable automated, continuous deployment.
• Test and validate solution development and apply fixes and enhancements.
• Deploy to production, monitor, and support solutions.
• Participate in Agile management of the delivery, stand-ups, scrum meetings, retrospectives, and record status and progress in JIRA.

Skills Required:

• 7-8 years of programming experience in Golang/Java/ruby.
• hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Git, and JIRA.
• Good understanding of software development practices, software architecture, and devops practices
• Working experience in Agile Projects.
