Project Manager For Biogas / Biodiesel Plant/s

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the development and construction of a Biogas plant at the greenfield stage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within strict deadlines and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Feasibility Study:

Evaluate technical and economic viability of biogas projects, assess feedstock sources, agricultural practices, and infrastructure, identify challenges and risks, estimate energy output and environmental benefits.

Feasibility Report:

Prepare detailed reports with technical specifications and cost estimates, analyze financial viability and return on investment, evaluate regulatory and policy framework, recommend strategies to optimize project performance and mitigate risks, present reports to stakeholders for approval, monitor and evaluate implementation of recommendations for project success.

1. Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets for the Biogas plant project.

2. Coordinate activities of engineers, contractors, and suppliers involved in the project.

3. Monitor project progress, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.

4. Identify and mitigate project risks.

5. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.

6. Communicate regularly with stakeholders and address any concerns.

7. Oversee the commissioning and start-up of the Biogas plant.

8. Liaise with government agencies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant field. MBA in Project Management or Industrial Management preferred.

2. Proven project management experience in the renewable energy sector.

3. Strong knowledge of Biogas plant technology, construction processes, and environmental regulations.

4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

5. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

6. PMP certification is a plus.

7. Proficiency in project management software and tools.

8. Experience with managing projects in the renewable energy sector.
