Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with expertise in FastAPI to join our team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities, collaborating closely with product teams and engineering professionals, optimizing platform performance, implementing security measures, and designing and building APIs and data storage solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic using FastAPI.
• Collaborate with product teams and Front-end engineers to ensure seamless functionality.
• Optimize platform performance for faster execution and scalability.
• Implement robust security and data protection practices.
• Design, experiment, and build APIs, data storage solutions, and other engineering projects.
• Conduct architecture reviews and developer code reviews.
• Maintain version control and adhere to the software delivery lifecycle.
• Demonstrate a fast-paced programming mentality with quick turnaround.
• Provide creative problem-solving with the ability to present multiple solutions and potential side effects.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer, with exceptions made based on skill level.
• Fluency in backend technologies such as FastAPI, , Python, PHP, Java, Ruby, etc.
• Knowledge of server-side CSS preprocessors (LESS & SASS), SQL, and SQL server.
• Proficiency in REST API design methodologies, session management, etc.
• Experience with automated testing platforms and code versioning tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL, MySQL, AWS, and Azure DevOps.
• Fluency in English to collaborate effectively with engineering managers.
