    Description

    RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with senior leaders to drive and deliver on CPBB performance management reporting and analytics though high quality MI and stakeholder engagement
  • Driving process improvement, efficiency and resolving core business issues in the team.
  • Finance Business Partner for the business/ functions with focus on improving & manage business financials.
  • Review various financial processes done by other GPO teams, ensure that the quality is not compromisedand be on top of all financial activities end to end -Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting, Management reporting, Financial Analysis, Variance Analysis, Headcount reporting, Efficiency tracking, Accounting & Closing and other FP&A activities.
  • Work closely with Accounting, Standard Reporting, and Planning & Control Teams.
  • Understanding the financial processes end to end and quick in understanding the ad hoc requirements with ensuring quality and TAT of the output.
  • Stakeholder management and escalation handling.
  • Handling a team, providing guidance and support in their work and doing a career planning for them.
  • Continuously reviewing all processes in order to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Working with the other team leaders and across the Global Financial Service functions to ensure co-operation and smooth operations.
  • Continuous improvement in Productivity to drive the efficiencies in the team.
  • Upholding the Values of the Group and Company at all times.
  • Compliance with all applicable Rules/ Regulations and Company and Group Policies.
  • Financial Controls

  • Ensure robust financial processes in place to report revenue, cost and balance sheet for CPBB in an accurate and timely manner
  • Support ALCO for capital and liquidity inputs and active balance sheet management for strategic planning
  • Ensure compliance with Group / IFRS accounting principles and practices, Financial Control policy, and other regulatory accounting guidelines
  • Team Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness

  • End to end support to the CCIB Finance team covering all outlines for business performance reports, analytics, planning and partnering with various finance and business stakeholders
  • Lead and manage the team and to develop the staff to take up different/more value-added roles
  • Contribute to any ad-hoc finance related projects, including providing support to Finance Transformation initiatives as well as simplification of bank process

  • End-to-End Knowledge on FP&A processes with hands-on experience on GL, Management Reporting systems and Reference Data Mapping
  • Exposure on Allocation tools (either cost or income related)
  • Migration across systems and UATs between Old and new systems
  • Reconciliation across various systems and eye for detail to capture upstream and downstream impact of various changes coming through
  • Inter-connectivity across Plan and Actual systems

  • QUALIFICATIONS*

    TRAINING, LICENSES, MEMBERSHIPS AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • CA/MBA with 5-7 years experience preferably in Finance Domain with knowledge on Financial Data flows
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to work across cross functional teams with tight timelines
  • Good Communication skills
  • Skillset on Finance Data Automation
