    Key Responsibilities

  • Fulfilling responsibilities as a Automation tester
  • Ensuring close collaboration and communication between various teams/studios
  • Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structed test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Liaise with internal studio teams (e.g., Developers, Product Owners, and Designers) to identify system requirements.
  • Monitor debugging process results.
  • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
  • Identify test requirements from the Specifications.
  • Design test plans and scenarios covering features under development to determine product quality or release readiness.
  • Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
  • Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures
  • Conducting analysis checks on products specifications
  • Responding to requests from internal teams and QA Leads
  • Document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards.
  • Execute manual campaigns and hotfix tests.
  • Document software defects, monitor the progress in a timely manner, escalate aging and priority defects.
  • Present test coverage matrix (Link test requirements to test cases)
  • Leading and driving innovation in QA processes and methodologies.
  • Responsible for mentoring and training Junior Team members
  • Involved in shaping the company's testing strategy and practices.
  • Exposure to leadership roles and responsibilities, including overseeing QA Lead activities in their absence.
  • Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or QA Lead
  • Exp in setting up framework from scratch.
  • Advanced in C#, Java, Selenium, SpecFlow are considered advantageous.
  • Deeper understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Highly skilled in identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • High-level analytical skills / Critical thinker
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Tool knowledge: Jira, TestRail, Confluence considered advantageous.
  • Web and Mobile software architecture knowledge
  • Studio game testing experience is considered advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of Rest API, Java and Selenium are considered beneficial.
  • Leadership experience is a plus.
  • ISTQB Certified
