    A. Position Summary:

    As an integral member of the SAP ABAP team, the SAP ABAP Developer will develop, enhance and support SAP ABAP applications spanning across multiple SAP platforms. A key focus will be on supporting SAP FI/CO and PTP areas.

    B. Key Responsibilities:

    · Prepare technical specifications based on functional requirements.

    · Translate technical specifications to enterprise-grade ABAP solutions following SAP best practices which meet the business requirements and are scalable.

    · Participate in coding, unit testing, debugging, configuration and deployment of ABAP solutions as part of projects and enhancements.

    · Troubleshoot and fix production support issues.

    · Collaborate with technical and functional teams in multiple geographical locations.

    · Comply with the established programming standards, policies and documentation guidelines.

    · Provide on-call support as needed.

    · Keep abreast of new or changing SAP technologies and development practices.

    C. Requirements:

    (These are 'musts' for the role)

    · 4-6 years of SAP ABAP development experience.

    · Minimum of one complete life-cycle implementation.

    · 1-2 years working in a production support environment.

    · Strong RICEFW development experience with a focus in SAP FI/CO and PTP areas (RICEFW - Report, Interface, Conversion, Enhancement, Form & Workflow).

    · Experience in RFCs, ALE/IDOCs, User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, File Interfaces, VOFMs, Enhancement Framework, WebDynpro and Web Services.

    · Experience in ABAP code optimization, program performance analysis and performance tuning.

    · Knowledge in Object Oriented ABAP and modeling OData services using the Gateway Service Builder.

    · Knowledge in SAP PS, MM and SD modules.

    · Strong interpersonal and communications skills both written and verbal to include translating complex technical issues clearly and precisely to both technical and non-technical parties.

    · Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

    · Strong problem-solving skills to include problem identification and impact, proper communication of the problem to peers and management, and the development and implementation of a resolution.

    · Service oriented, professional, and reliable.

    · Advanced English communication skills.

    D. Preferred:

    (These are 'nice to have' for the role)

    · Experience or knowledge in ABAP CDS, Fiori/UI5 and S/4 HANA is a huge plus

    · SAP certification
