    Purpose

    Thepurpose of this job is to lead and facilitate student s learningand success through creative use of progressive learning anddevelopment methodology delivered in line with the vision missionand values ofNYA.

    KeyAccountabilities Do(Tasks)
    Curriculumplan anddesign
    Demonstratea deep understanding of various teaching methodologies andprogressive methods of teaching appropriate to the gradeassigned.
    Adopt a consistent collaborativefocus on improving student s learning outcomes through themodelling of best teachingpractice.

    Participate in developing a commonunderstanding of the pedagogy and curriculum learning goals andstrategies and adopt the most appropriate researchbased teachingpractice at NYA.

    Preparing the planners and uploading it on AtlasRubicon.
    Lead the session delivery to ensurethe delivery of appropriate comprehensive innovative and highquality pedagogy.

    Be familiar with and adhereto all requirements for external and internal quality standardsrequirements and accreditations like IB andWACS.Effectively use digital platforms forteaching delivery.

    Modulate the resources methods and teaching aidsto be used in digitally conductedsessions.

    Demonstratedeep understanding of foundational concepts of child s overalldevelopment and cognitive abilities.
    Connectwith student s and demonstrate genuine concern and care for theirdevelopmentAdopt methods to triggercuriosity and passion for learning andselfdevelopment.
    Conduct the class thatencourages selfdiscipline while maintaining healthy discussion andcollaboration amongst students.
    Assiststudents in setting realistic goals for themselves in line withtheir abilities and interests. Encourage students in pursuing theirpassion by connecting them to right resources andopportunities.
    Connect regularly with theparents and carry out constructive conversations about thestudents. Mutually agree on the development plan of the students.
    Take ownership in preparing and circulating the Progress card andReport cards.
    Be consistent with the overalllearning philosophy and practices ofNYAClass management anddelivery
    Demonstrateexpertise in usage of various learning technique appropriate forthe concept learning goals and teachingphilosophy.

    Engage with all students in thegrade and encourage participation from them in classactivitiesCommunicate clearly the conceptsand execute the learning methodologies planned for thesession.

    Set clear expectations from studentson the tasks to be completed to gain deeper understanding of theconcepts covered.
    Integrate the concepts thewith larger learning goals of the academic year as well as thosecovered in the past. Show linkage with the future and practicalapplications of the concepts (whereapplicable)Accreditations andextracurricularactivities

    Takeactive part in planning and executing extracurricular activities inline with the academic calendarLead theconcept design coordinate with various NYA departments and supportthe execution of events at NYAMaintain allevidence and documents related to IB and WASC.

    Assist in thecompletion of accreditationrequirements.

    Continuouslydialogue with fellow teachers on the usage of learning methods andpedagogy.
