    • PositionName: Asst. EHS Manager & EHSofficer
    • Qualification: Diploma/Btechin Electrical/Mechanical/civil engineering with an industrialsafety diploma course from a recognized institute.
    • BTech Fire & Safety from approved college OrScience graduate with Diploma/PG Diploma in IndustrialSafety.
    • Industrial Safety Diploma from RLI/CLIand NEBOSH credential will be an advantage.
    • Experience: Minimum 510 Years inEHS

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensureimplementation of EHS policy.
    • Appraise themanagement on EHS status & help formulate appropriatepolicies for continual improvement.
    • Workunder Cluster EHSMs/SEHSH guidance and monitoring.
    • Liaise with external agencies/clients/customers.
    • Monitor the state / clusterspecific changes in the applicable legal requirements andcommunicates the changes among team.
    • Ensurethe implementation of the EHS management system and norms as perthe IMS and EHS Manual respectively.
    • Designingand imparting training for staff subcontractor workmenvisitors.
    • Review and monitoring EHSperformance of sites including compliance to legalrequirements.
    • Conduct site EHSinspections.
    • Organizing & conductingEHS audits.
    • Prepare Project specific EHS Plansfor the project.
    • Coordinate for preparing theEHS Risk assessment & Safe Work Method.
    • Organize campaigns competitions & other specialemphasis programmes to promote EHS at workplace.
    • Coordinate on purchase and quality control of PPEs /safety gadgets as per the specifications.
    • Assist Segment EHS Head in vendor assessment so as toensure usage of quality products.
    • Investigateall serious incidents & initiate necessary correctiveactions at the site.
    • Analyze incident trends& initiate necessary Proactive measures at Projectsite.
    • Act as a catalyst for establishingimplementing & maintaining emergency preparedness andresponse procedure at the site.
    • Collating andreporting the site EHS performance to the cluster.
    • Appraising Management on EHS Performance on regularintervals.
    • To organize EHS Audit/Inspectionsas per schedule.
    • To provide / arrange toprovide necessary EHS training to all employees based on theproject requirement.
    • Maintain all EHS relateddocuments of the project and provide when required by management orsite audit team.
    • Arranging &Coordinating Project review meeting
    • Visit toall site / work location to perform survey inspection to assess theIMS performance.
    • Stop work activities onbehalf of management in any activity possess imminent danger toEnvironment Health & Safety.

    RequiredSkills/Abilities:

    • Excellent written and verbal communicationskills.
    • Good computer knowledge with generalsoftware such as MSOffice MS Excel Power point Emailetc.
