    Description

    Position Summary

    Purpose

    Conducts market research and industry surveys in the relevant product/services domain to support the development of organizational strategies and assessment of potential business opportunities. supports a variety of activities including but not limited to sales support, new product development, and corporate strategy.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Functions

    ESSENTIAL

    §Work on strategic growth projects of the organization, supporting both primary and secondary market research, as well as providing analytical and market-based insights

    §Execute and deliver research projects involving competitive analysis & benchmarking, company profiling, market assessment & sizing, and industry/sector analysis, etc.

    §Research, collect and consolidate data on the focus market, clients, and competitors into presentations and reports

    §Remain abreast on market trends, and third-party research

    §Contribute to the monthly market intelligence report by conducting secondary research like market analysis, tracking the performance of key brands, organizations, competitors & industry

    §Provide data assistance to business development, finance, and other business teams for various projects

    §Identify resources and support required for the work plan to be carried through

    §Develop processes and reporting metrics to communicate trends to the business development team

    §Collaborate with external business partners like primary market research agencies and data agencies to achieve strategic objectives

    §Analyze and benchmark key competitors inside and outside of operational markets.

    §Consult with subject matter experts to develop a complete understanding of the relevant trends as and when required.

    §Conduct market benchmarking of product lines to identify growth opportunities

    §Communicate regular progress updates to stakeholders

    §Demonstrate of initiative to accomplish individual/ team objectives

    §Work towards individual goals aligned with department and organizational objectives

    §Comply with organizational policies and procedures

    §Understand and adhere to organizational policies and practices

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED


    • Post Graduation (MBA) in Marketing/Operations/Finance or Market Research with a minimum of two years of relevant market research experience, OR


    • Graduation (bachelor's degree) in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics) with a minimum of three years of relevant industry experience

    DESIRED

    §Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint

    §Good data analysis skills

    §Good exposure to Oil & Gas market and its value chain and/or renewables

    §Proficient in Tableau and Power BI

    §Great communication skills
