Summary of Responsibilities

The Instructional Designer will design, develop, and maintain engaging, interactive, and effective training content for our client's customers. Primary learner audiences will include admins, end-users, and employees. This content is a combination of non-technical and technical content.

Primary Responsibilities

Design and develop training curriculums using appropriate instructional design methodology and development tools.

Create and select effective media elements, including video, graphics, audio and animation, that enhances student comprehension and interactivity, thus aiding in mastery and retention of the course objectives and content.

Work with key stakeholders and subject-matter-experts to develop quick hit videos and eLearning modules, with a focus on micro-learning.

Create learning support materials, such as demo scripts, job aids, and self-study guides.

Ensure that materials are consistent with product and positioning messaging, and documentation, such as online help, user guides, and video tutorials.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 4 years' experience in instructional design, curriculum development, instructional technology, multimedia technology.

3-4 years of experience in Content and Script writing skills.

Ability to utilize instructional design development tools for content creation such as: Articulate, including Rise, Vyond, video editing tools such as Camtasia, and other common ID platforms.

Ability to fully utilize Google Suite and MS Office Tools for content creation.

Knowledge of curriculum development standards and best practices in education is required.

Demonstrated application of adult learning principles and instructional design practices.

Demonstrated ability to create engaging, interactive, and effective training and performance support materials that align with course learning objectives.
