Position Overview:

• As a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager in our engineering company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our engineering projects, products, and services.
• You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing QA/QC processes to meet regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client expectations. Your leadership will drive a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Job Description:

• Develop and Implement QA/QC Processes: Design, implement, and maintain robust quality assurance and quality control processes specific to engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
• Project Quality Management: Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to establish quality requirements, develop quality plans, and implement QA/QC activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quality Inspections and Testing: Oversee quality inspections, tests, and evaluations to verify compliance with design specifications, contractual requirements, and applicable standards.
• Supplier and Subcontractor Quality Management: Establish quality criteria for suppliers and subcontractors, conduct audits and assessments, and ensure the quality of materials, components, and services procured for engineering projects.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential quality risks in engineering projects and develop strategies to mitigate them, including proactive measures to prevent defects and non-conformities.
• Document Control and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of QA/QC activities, including inspection reports, test results, non-conformity reports, and corrective actions. Prepare regular quality performance reports for management review.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in quality assurance and quality control within the engineering industry, with a minimum of 10 to 15 years of managerial experience.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and practices, with a focus on quality management systems and processes.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards applicable to engineering projects (e.g., ASME, ASTM, ISO, API, etc.).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify quality issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus.
