    Description

    Name Executive - Accounts Receivables
    Department - SSC
    Location - Seawoods Office, Navi Mumbai
    Position reports to Team Lead, Accounts Receivables

    Key Responsibilities

    • Obtain proper approval, check due/overdue status, and update collection information before releasing containers/BL.

    • Submit invoices/PODs to customers, proactively resolve queries, and coordinate with departments for efficient payment and collection processes.

    • Ensure prompt follow-up and collection of due/overdue payments.

    • Circulate accurate weekly/monthly outstanding reports to the business and actively participate in review calls.

    • Provide support to the GL team in reconciling open items during bank reconciliation.

    • Regularly follow up with customers for TDS certificates and perform quarterly reconciliations.

    • Conduct timely customer reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

    • Effectively manage the full and final settlement of customer accounts.

    • Perform quarterly customer balance confirmations and ensure consistent debt collection for internal and external audits.

    • Promptly notify the business about dishonored cheques, monitor subsequent collections, and circulate monthly reports.

    • Handle disputed accounts to expedite pending collections and align payments with agreed terms.

    • Efficiently manage customer master blocking and unblocking in cases of cheque dishonor, overdue outstanding, or inactive status.

    QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

    Qualifications

    • Graduate in Commerce

    • Computer knowledge including Proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing & email.

    • Awareness of GST, Income Tax & basic accounting concepts.

    • 4-8 years' experience of accounting activities

    • Awareness of statutory regulations relating to Receivables
