    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure accurate and timely closure of accounts, as well as the preparation of monthly financial statements for both the Trust and Foundation.
    • Prepare detailed analysis of P&L and Balance Sheet line items for review.
    • Maintain fixed assets records and controls related to ownership and usage.
    • Monitor the utilization of fixed assets, ensuring they are purchased after justifying internal ROI.
    • Evaluate accounting practices to ensure adherence with applicable Accounting Standards and organization policies.
    • Identify internal control weaknesses and escalate them in a timely manner for resolution.
    • Implement an effective Delegation of Authority system, ensuring approvals occur as per the DOA.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Monthly preparation of MIS reports, including variance analysis between Budget and Actuals.
    • Product-wise margin reports.
    • Assist in periodic reviews and be responsible for Statutory, Internal, and Systems audits.
    • Support regulatory reporting applicable to Trusts and Section 8 companies.

    Specialized Skills:

    • ERP systems experience, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
    • Lead tax services delivery, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and alignment with business objectives.
    • Represent and defend the organization's tax position before tax regulating bodies during audits or reviews.
    • Manage support for statutory, internal, and tax auditors, as well as annual tax assessments.
    • Handle litigations and manage annual tax assessments.
    • Develop and maintain internal taxation policies, implementing them into existing accounting practices and ensuring corporate compliance with local, national, and international tax obligations.

    Requirements:

    • Chartered Accountant qualification.
    • 3-5 years' experience working in medium/large-sized manufacturing companies, focusing on taxation and account closure.
