The Platform Design and Research team at Coinbase holds a pivotal role in realizing our vision of promoting economic freedom globally, serving as the driving force behind product execution across the organization. We are dedicated to developing the most secure, reliable, and user-friendly cryptocurrency products to cater to both beginners and seasoned cryptocurrency enthusiasts.

What you will do:
- Lead a team of Product Designers
- Proactively identify obstacles, opportunities, and enhancements within your product area
- Engage in decision-making at all stages of your product area projects
- Collaborate cross-functionally to shape product vision and strategy
- Define user experience for critical customer journeys
- Mentor other designers and assist in their growth
- Establish design processes for your team
- Organize and document multiple projects and the team's workflow

What we seek in you:
- Willingness to work across APAC and US time zones, ideally based in India
- 1-2 years of experience leading a design team professionally
- Strong mentoring abilities, managerial experience is a plus
- Proficiency in UX design, visual design, and written communication
- Experience in designing at scale with a focus on systems thinking
- Familiarity with Figma and prototyping tools, along with driving user research studies
- Team player, open-minded, and collaborative in nature
- Previous experience in FinTech design and exposure to the world of crypto is a plus
