Senior Joint Manager – Packaging (Home Care category)

• Communication and interaction with brand on NPD's.
• To know how to work out packaging costs and should have ability to communicate ideas and concepts to brand clearly and crisply.
• To communicate both verbal & written --- crisp & clear.
• Be able to work in a team and have the ability to advocate own ideas and get a buy in for the same in a cross functional team.
• Vendors on development of samples and concepts.
• Have knowledge on testing of packaging as well as ability to apply different tests to new pack concepts. Ability to analyze results and propose a way forward.
• To prepare Specifications and BOM for concepts /NPDs. Knowledge/previous experience of SAP interface an added advantage.

Domain Knowledge:

• idea of how packaging for any new product is proposed & selected.
• on plastics and processing of plastics for both flexible and rigids a must.
• to know about decoration processes & ability to understand KLD's as well as ability to prepare the same. Ability to understand molds as well as mold manufacture required.

Qualification, experience, and technical skills required:

• Diploma from IIP.
• 4-7 years in packaging development.
• have knowledge /previous experience on home care category. Knowledge of materials used, test methods and procedures to be used. Clear idea of how packaging for any new product is proposed & selected.
