Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the cross-functional communication with internal and external stakeholders
2. Lead the Compliance project management
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Design and Sourcing, to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
4. Research, compile, and summarize required regulatory documentation for new and existing products, including registration, labeling, reporting, testing, warranties, etc.
5. Review and interpret regulations and standards to assess their impact on current and future products, and communicate this information to relevant stakeholders.
6. Assist in the development and maintenance of internal policies, procedures, and training materials to ensure company-wide regulatory compliance.
7. Coordinate product testing and inspection with 3rd-party labs and testing providers.
8. Manage timelines related to multiple new products (as many as 10) simultaneously, working with leadership to prioritize and invest resources appropriately.
9. Work closely with labs and external stake holders governing to monitor enforcement of consumer products standards and regulations.
10. Report and address compliance issues and create time sensitive response that will help us address and mitigate potential issues.
11. Maintain library of Regulatory records that includes protocols, company policies / Licenses and procedures and participate in virtual committee meetings.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree; Bachelor's degree in Regulatory Affairs, Law, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
2. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the consumer products industry.
3. Knowledge of applicable US laws, regulations, and standards governing consumer products, such as CPSC, FDA, and EPA.
4. Knowledge of applicable international standards and related labelling for governing consumer products.
5. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and identify potential risks.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
7. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
