    Hiring for a Lead Data Scientist for a NBFC and Fintech platform provider.

    Our client is a Software Services Company established in 1989 and has evolved through manifold phases over the last 34 years. Their Director, Mr. V. Shankar was the founder of CAMS, India's largest RTA for mutual funds, starting a renaissance in the fin-tech space in the 1990's. Today, they are a Family Office and RBI registered NBFC investing their own funds in multiple asset classes.

    Role & responsibilities:

    • statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to develop predictive models for investment strategies
    • large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can provide valuable market intelligence
    • with the team to design and implement data-driven solutions that address business challenges
    • and maintain data pipelines and workflows to ensure accurate and timely data processing
    • in-depth research and data analysis to support investment decision making and risk assessment
    • awareness of industry trends and advancements in data science methodologies, and apply them to enhance our analytical capabilities
    • findings and recommendations to the management in a clear and concise manner

    Candidate requirements:

    • 8+ years of experience in the field of Data Science.
    • knowledge of financial markets, instruments and investment strategies.
    • in Python programming.
    • capabilities in applying statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to solve complex problems
    • working with large datasets and data visualization tools
    • communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
