    Description

    Create detailed drawings and schematics for electrical and HVAC systems, including layout plans, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.

    Interpret engineering designs, sketches, and specifications to produce accurate technical drawings that meet project requirements and industry standards.

    Coordinate with project teams to ensure the integration and coordination of electrical and HVAC systems with architectural and structural components.

    Develop and maintain CAD libraries and templates for electrical and HVAC components, symbols, and standards.

    Collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve design issues and implement design changes as needed.

    Assist in the preparation of construction documents, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for electrical and HVAC installations.

    Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information, verify dimensions, and assess existing conditions as necessary.

    Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards and specifications.

    Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to electrical and HVAC drafting and design.

    Provide support and assistance to other members of the design team as needed.

    Requirements:

    Diploma or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, HVAC Design, or a related field.

    Proven experience as a Draughtsman with a focus on electrical and HVAC systems.

    Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or similar programs.

    Strong understanding of electrical and HVAC principles, codes, and standards.

    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.

    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.

    Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with engineers and other team members.

    Familiarity with building construction processes and terminology.

    Knowledge of MEP coordination and integration within building designs is a plus.

    Problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
