- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the overall business objectives of the group, with a strong understanding of Industrial Relations (IR) considerations.
- Oversee all aspects of the HR function, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and learning & development, catering to the diverse needs of both white-collar and blue-collar employees (workforce management).
- Provide strategic guidance and counsel to senior management on all HR matters, including IR issues.
- Lead the HR team in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that comply with all labor laws and regulations, navigating the complexities of IR.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the group, including business unit leaders, union representatives (if applicable), and employees.
- Champion a positive and inclusive company culture that fosters employee engagement and high performance for a young and dynamic workforce.
- Stay abreast of current HR trends and best practices, and implement innovative solutions to improve HR processes with a forward-thinking approach.
- Develop and manage the HR budget.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 20+ years of progressive experience in a senior HR leadership role within a multi-diversified or complex organization, with proven success in managing a workforce with both white-collar and blue-collar employees.
- Demonstrated understanding of Industrial Relations (IR) principles and practices, including collective bargaining, grievance procedures, and labor laws.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies that address the unique needs of a young and dynamic workforce.
- Strong understanding of all core HR functions, including talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and learning & development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization, including with union representatives (if applicable).
- Proficient in HR technology and information systems.
- Global mindset with experience working in a multi-cultural environment (a plus).
