    Job Description:
    We seek a highly skilled and experienced

    Production Planning Controller

    to oversee our dynamic team at Norex at our Flavors & Fragrances Unit.

    This role is pivotal in ensuring effective coordination across various departments, including production, R&D, customer support, HR, quality control, quality assurance, purchasing, and sales.

    The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing our operational procedures, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:1.

    Strategic Planning and Execution:
    Develop and implement business strategies to improve overall efficiency and productivity. Ensure alignment of departmental goals with the company's vision and objectives.2.


    Team Leadership and Development:
    Lead and mentor department heads and teams, promoting a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and collaborative teamwork

    3 Operations Management:
    Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring optimal performance, resource allocation, and workflow coordination across all departments

    4 Sales Team Liaison:
    Act as the primary point of contact for the remote sales team, facilitating effective communication and alignment with company objectives

    5 Quality and Compliance Oversight:
    Ensure all products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. Work closely with quality control and assurance teams to maintain standards.6.


    Budget Management:
    Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost management strategies to ensure fiscal health and sustainability

    7 Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
    Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Via respective departments (Marketing, sales, Customer Support, etc.).8.


    Innovation and Improvement:
    Drive innovation in product development and operational processes. Stay abreast of industry trends to keep the company at the forefront of the market.9.


    Risk Management:
    Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring business continuity and resilience.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    At least a bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
    Proven experience of more than

    10 years

    in a senior operations management role, ideally in the flavors and fragrances industry or a related field.
    Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams.
    Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    Proficiency in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
    Solid understanding of quality control, regulatory compliance, and customer service standards.
    Ability to analyze data, understand market trends, and make data-driven decisions.
    Experience in managing remote teams is a plus.
