    Job Description


    Position DescriptionAs a Lead DevOps Platform Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage our infrastructure and deployment processes to support our software development lifecycle.

    Your role will focus on creating and maintaining a robust and scalable DevOps platform that enables efficient and reliable delivery of our applications.

    Expertise you bringTechnical leadership of software design in meeting requirements of service stability, reliability, scalability and security.
    Grow and lead a team of engineers committed to building and operating highly scalable and reliable products.
    Be a hands on technical leader and manage peopleContinuously improve processes and systems to increase reliability and reduce risk.
    Be Innovative - Lead the team's innovation efforts, bringing in new ideas and technologies.
    Solve complex problems related to cloud service implementations, architecture optimisation and build automation for resilience.

    Support development activities and work closely with the development team to analyze and provide them with the necessary infrastructure, and CI/CD solutions.

    Implement process to Build and manage robust pipelines to push code to multiple environments including client environments.

    Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth integration and operation of applications within the infrastructure as well as to push new versions of our product to multiple environments.

    Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
    Conduct research and recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the DevOps platform.

    Take ownership of infrastructure and network architecture planningStay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.

    Performance and cost optimization for infrastructureBe part of 24x7 support coverage as needed

    Qualifications

    Job RequirementsStrong Leadership/Mentoring skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Exhibit a High degree of ownershipSolid experience in AWS, Terraform/CloudFormation, Kubernetes is a must.

    At least 5 years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.

    Exposure to scale and solving complex problemsStrong hold on automation with APIs/CLIs/SDKsStrong Experience in Network Security.
    Should be able to mentor and guide team members on latest technologiesExtensive design/architecture experience on one of the following cloud platforms(AWS/GCP/Azure)

    Should be hands-on and have the ability to codeManaged large scale containerized implementations on AWSExperience in DevOps toolchain:

    Planning, Designing, Building(CI), Deploying(CD), Testing and MonitoringExperience in at least one configuration management tool (ansible, chef, salt, puppet)Experience with using monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana, and logging stacks such as ELK/EFK and APM tools.

    Scalability, HA and troubleshooting of end to end stackMigration and modernization of application or infrastructureRelevant certifications like Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are a plusExperience in Managing a production SaaS product would a plus
