Title: SAP Basis Lead - Pune Location

Location: Pune, India

Experience: 5+ years

• Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of SAP Basis L1 engineers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of SAP Basis activities, including system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute SAP system upgrades, installations, and migrations.
• Implement and maintain SAP best practices for system security, user administration, and authorization management.
• Perform system health checks, system refreshes, and backups to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system uptime.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, including hands-on experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and other SAP modules.
• Proven experience in leading and managing SAP Basis L1 teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver architecture, SAP HANA database administration, and SAP Solution Manager.
• Proficiency in SAP system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration) will be a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and SAP cloud solutions (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform) will be an advantage.
