    Description

    Role Summary:

    The Delivery Analyst will leverage the power of financial systems using Power BI to develop high-impact reporting and analysis solutions for finance teams and senior leadership. The analyst will also execute projects on utilization of data from diverse sources including the Azure Data Lake and will work closely with other Finance Team members to continuously improve both systems and processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Leveraging the power of McCormick's financial systems using Power BI to develop management reports, graphical dashboards, scorecards, and other solutions.
    • Collaborates with finance teams to define information requirements and recommend solutions. Develops enterprise reporting "standards," and administers the portfolio of enterprise system reporting objects.
    • Participate in process and technology improvement projects, to include the implementation of changes or enhancements to financial system structures, metadata, and data to optimize Power BI reporting and analysis capabilities.
    • Actively pursues opportunities to improve competencies with the systems. Researches new features and functionality.
    • Responsible for understanding how the requirements, design and financial data structures for all new analytical tools fit into the current and future analytical strategy and framework.

    Desired skills/ Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years professional related field
    • Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field
    • Understanding of enterprise data sources to drive visibility and data automation.
    • Familiarity with creating POWER BI reports using diverse Data Sources including Azure Data Lake (Synapse), Tm1, SAP, Denodo etc.
    • Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data.
    • Advance knowledge of DAX scripts. Access Control in Power BI.
    • Data transformation within Power BI, report optimization.
    • Experience with Cloud preferably Azure.
    • Demonstrated ability to proactively solve problems and multi-task.
    • Execute continuous improvement initiatives and improve systems.
