    UX Researcher

    Responsible for conducting interviews and ethnographic studies to support detailed application development. Familiar with Experimental Design Methods, Ethnography methods, Probability and Statistical processes to engage Contextual inquiry. Evaluates and tests new UI designs to inject feedback quickly back to the development process. Works with paper-prototypes, demos, and real products to create tangible UX Mock ups, measures usability and is able to articulate UX research results into initial requirements. Maintains substantial knowledge of UX principles and theories. May lead research efforts and participate in and lead interdepartmental UX activities.

    Trellix's User Experience team is seeking a User Experience Researcher. You will plan, perform, analyze, synthesize, and communicate findings that help deliver user experiences to solve some of cybersecurity's most challenging problems. You'll leverage your full range of research skills and soft skills to create customer value. Your contributions will empower cybersecurity professionals to do their best work under high-pressure scenarios.   • Measure usability and articulate UX research results into initial requirements
  • Promote Trellix's UX principles and theories, and contribute to a growing body of knowledge
  • May lead research efforts and participate in and lead interdepartmental UX activities
  • Communicate research plans and artifacts to project team and stakeholders
  • About you:

  • 3 to 4 years of research experience with a Bachelor's degree; or a Master's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient-level application of user-centered design principles and design thinking to evaluate customer value
  • Demonstrated track record of fostering approachable, constructive relationships with UX practitioners, internal stakeholders, and customers
  • Work ethic characterized by curiosity and an unwavering attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate ideas in approachable terms
  • Cybersecurity experience is a plus.
