JobResponsibilities

• To lead ateam of analysts supporting the discovery/synthetic chemistryactivities.
• Responsible for analytical methoddevelopments and validations.
• Accountable forspeed cost and quality of analytical chemistry
• Ability to create and work on standards to enhanceprocesses
• Identify probable issues establisherror limitations and plan for resolution in advance.
• Maintain the analytical facility in all aspects includingsafety.
• Develop productivity metrics andinitiatives to improve productivity year over year through acombination of talent processes and technology.
• Train the staff on latest scientific and technologicaladvances
• Critically analyse and interpret dataand communicate accurate reports results and ideas to stakeholdersin verbal written and presentation formats.

Key Qualifications

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry with 5 10 yearsexperience in Analytical Research and Development in the CROspace.
• Solid working experience in equipmentand instrument validations operation calibration and preventivemaintenance of analytical instruments.
• Handsonexperience in HPLC (prep and analytical) LCMS FTIR Moisturetitrator UV spectrophotometer NMR and other analyticalinstruments
• Good knowledge and ability tohandle CAD would be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated capability in identifying and handling newtechnology and equipment reduction in cost and knowledgebasedtroubleshooting.
