    Job Title: GM-HR

    Level: General Manager

    Location: Raipur, C.G

    About the Job:

    The successful candidate will lead, plan, monitor, and oversee the execution of all HR activities, including talent recruitment, induction, training & development, termination, and system compliance. They will also implement and ensure adherence to the Performance Management System (PMS) Cycle and company policies.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    Talent Acquisition & Management:

    • Manage all human resource-related activities for the plant.
    • Prepare, approve, and adhere to the annual HR budget for recruitment, compensation, benefits, training & development, and other expenses.
    • Coordinate with department heads to elicit and capture talent management goals and objectives.
    • Ensure talent retention and stay up-to-date on market trends for pay policies, bonus structures, and benefits.
    • Manage general affairs, employee counselling, and grievance handling as needed.
    • Oversee the implementation of the periodic Performance Management System and share it with departmental heads.
    • Monitor and control annual absenteeism across group companies and take timely measures to stay within budgeted levels.

    Training & Development:

    • Work closely with department heads to identify training needs and develop/implement training programs.
    • Plan and create company-wide training schedules, differentiating between mandatory safety and regulatory trainings and departmental operations-related trainings.
    • Execute training schedules and associated activities, including content maintenance, delivery, communications, bookings, travel, and records maintenance.
    • Collate training delivery and related data for analysis and share it with departmental heads and top management.

    General Management:

    • Lead a team of HR professionals and provide training, support, and guidance for skill development and continuous improvement of HR & Admin processes.
    • Prepare and present data sets pertaining to Purchase & Stores department operations, utilization, and performance at various events.
    • Oversee the creation and submission of daily and periodic MIS reports, validate analysis, and make data-driven decisions for HR & Admin process efficiency.
    • Perform additional tasks as requested by top management.

    Requirements and Skills:

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a relevant commerce discipline.
    • Postgraduate in a similar field is preferred.

    Desired Experience:

    • 10+ years of HR & Admin management experience in the Steel or Manufacturing industry.
    • 3+ years of leadership experience.

    Functional Skills:

    • Excellent experience developing and implementing HR strategies and policies.
    • Strong talent acquisition & management experience in steel or manufacturing plants.
    • Experience developing and implementing training and development programs.
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel, and other office productivity tools and software.
