    Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for investigations and management of matters that are raised to the Company, more specifically around conflict, bullying, discrimination, unfair treatment, workplace harassment, sexual harassment, performance management and any other work-related grievances
  • Possess an understanding of issues affecting Employee Relations internally, e.g., legal restrictions, Local laws, risk and control requirements etc.
  • Investigate any high risk, high priority or sensitive issues related to the above themes that pose reputational and legal risk
  • Ensuring investigations adhere to timelines and are conducted sensitively, confidentially, fairly and always keeping in mind duty of care and employee experience
  • Ensuring investigations are well researched, in consideration of the full and crucial factors: applying extensive employee relations/employment law experience and knowledge to manage cases quickly, effectively and professionally, ensuring that the risk to the organization is mitigated and that decisions reached are fair, consistent and in line with legal obligations and regulatory expectations
  • Review and advise on complex performance management situations and fairness of decision making and local processes for reorganization and restructuring exercises
  • Identify hot spots through case trends. Identify and develop proactive interventions through training, workshops etc. with an aim to focus on proactive management of issues
  • Recommend enhancements to constantly improve processes and practices within the ER function
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience with at least 3 years in employee relations vertical
  • Knowledge and experience in general HR, Employee Relations
  • Solid business acumen and the ability to analyze statistical data to identify areas of focus
  • Proven excellent communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively and accurately in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Capable of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Proven solid interpersonal, delivery and facilitation skills
