    Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd Responsibilities & Key DeliverablesAbility to do finite element modelling of Vehicle components and Systems. Ability to assign thickness and material properties to componentsAbility to build finite element assemblies for Vehicle structure. Should have good understanding of different types of connections like spot and seam welding.
    Ability to apply loads and Boundary conditions required for linear and nonlinear Static analysis. Ability to carry out Modal, frequency response and transient analysis for vehicle components and systems.
    Ability to do Fatigue life estimation for Vehicle structure, Spot and seam welds.
    Ability to postprocess results, make reports and present results to design team.

    Ability to recommend design modifications to meet acceptance criteria based on analysis results, manufacturing and packaging constraints Automotive SystemsAbility to postprocess results and make reports.

    Should know different tests for Vehicle systems and recommend design modifications to meet acceptance criteria based on analysis results.
    Good fundamentals
    • Strength of materials, Applied mechanics and Finite element methodsKnowledge of different tests for Vehicle systems and test instrumentations.
    Correlation of CAE results with physical test results.
    ExperienceMTech - 4 to 5 yrs Should have hands on experience on: Meshing - Hypermesh, SIMLAB Solvers - Nastran, Abaqus, Ansys Post processing - Hyperview FEMFATIndustry PreferredAutomotive QualificationsGeneral Requirements
