    Description
    Production Leader (Female Candidates Only)


    Responsibility & Authority:

    • Accountable for delivering as per agreed Delivery Schedules, meeting SQDCEP targets.
    • Implements Safety in ways of working and processes, promoting and driving a safety culture among team members.
    • Provides inputs towards Business Plan / Industrial Planning Process.
    • Derives Operational objectives / KPIs / PIs from Plant Business plan and drives implementation of actions in Chassis Assembly / Preassemblies to achieve desired results.
    • Plans & secures resources to meet targets within defined areas of responsibility.
    • Drives implementation of VPS, Network within / outside GTO to share and benchmark best practices, resolve operational problems, improve coordination and processes, in order to efficiently run the Production Processes.
    • Develops production capacity and delivery plan with inputs from Logistics, in line with Production Programme, monitors and takes corrective actions; ensures timely availability of resources; provides direction to Team Leaders / team members to support achievement of deliverables as planned.
    • Reviews weekly & daily production performance, manages variations by replanning, initiates corrective and preventive actions to realign with the plan, drives process improvements; measures effectiveness & efficiency of production to meet delivery targets on quality, cost, and timelines.
    • Plans department activities, implements company initiatives, handles people management, and escalates people issues within his/her area.
    • Identifies staff training needs, provides inputs for training module development, organizes technical and soft skills training, sets goals, and appraises team members to develop a motivated and committed team of professionals.
    • Promotes a continuous improvement culture and the use of VPS tools in the team. Continuously works towards identifying efficiency improvement opportunities, initiates actions, and monitors progress.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

    • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
    • Mechanical / Automobile / Production.
    • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Production / Manufacturing function and with managerial experience of at least 8 years in leading teams.
    • Experience in Assembly Production
    • Four/Two Wheel Manufacturing.
    • Problemsolving and improvement mindset and methods.
    • Manning and flexible manning systems.
    Team player; ability to build internal and external relationships and networks.

    • Communication Skills
    • Fluency in English, Good working knowledge of MS Office.
