    Description

    Job Title: Senior NodeJS Developer

    Requirements:

    1. Degree: Post-graduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience) 2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of coding experience in NodeJS, JavaScript, and Databases; at least 1 year hands-on in TypeScript

    3. Technical Skills: - Excellent knowledge of developing scalable and highly-available RESTful APIs using NodeJS technologies - Practical experience with GraphQL - Familiarity with CI/CD principles and experience in troubleshooting issues in distributed services ecosystem - Knowledge of containerization, experience with Dockers and Kubernetes - Exposure to API gateway integrations like 3Scale - Understanding of Single-Sign-on or token-based authentication (REST, JWT, OAuth) - Expertise in task/message queues (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, Kafka)

    4. Functional Skills: - Experience in following best practices for coding, security, unit testing, and documentation - Preferred experience in Banking, Financial, and Fintech industries in an enterprise environment - Experience in Agile methodology

    5. Responsibilities: - Ensure quality of technical and application architecture and design of systems across the organization - Research and benchmark technology against other best-in-class technologies

    6. Soft Skills: - Able to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, increasing their productivity and effectiveness - Self-motivator and self-starter, able to own and drive projects without supervision - Strong interpersonal skills.
