    Job Title: Food and Beverage (FnB) Supervisor

    Position Overview: The Food and Beverage (FnB) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining inventory, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Staff Supervision:
    • Directly supervise and train FnB staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring smooth operation during shifts.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
    1. Customer Service:
    • Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all guests.
    • Handle guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the FnB outlets.
    1. Operations Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the FnB outlets, including dining areas, bars, and kitchen.
    • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
    1. Quality Control:
    • Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and portion sizes to uphold standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and organization in all areas.
    • Implement corrective actions when necessary to address quality issues.
    1. Financial Management:
    • Assist in developing and managing budgets for the FnB department.
    • Control costs by minimizing waste and optimizing resource utilization.
    • Track sales and expenses, and prepare reports for management as needed.
    1. Training and Development:
    • Coordinate training programs for FnB staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and support to maintain high levels of performance.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in FnB operations.
    1. Event Management:
    • Assist in planning and executing special events and functions held in the FnB outlets.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events.
    • Ensure sufficient staffing levels and resources for events.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a supervisory role in the food and beverage industry.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
    • Proficiency in basic computer applications and POS systems.
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    Working Conditions:

    • The FnB Supervisor will primarily work in indoor settings, including dining areas, kitchens, and office spaces.
    • The role may require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of heavy objects.
    • Flexibility in working hours is necessary, as the position may involve evenings, weekends, and holidays.
