    Role Description:


    The Financial Services Analytics Senior Associate at PwC US will be responsible for supporting the analytics team in regulatory compliance, risk management, anti-money laundering (AML), and fraud analytics within the financial services industry.

    The role requires a strong understanding of financial services operations, regulatory requirements, and data analytics techniques to drive insights, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance.


    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
    • Relevant certifications in AML, fraud detection, risk management, regulatory compliance, or data analytics (e.g., Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, Certified Fraud Examiner, Financial Risk Manager, Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager, Certified Analytics Professional) are a plus

    Number of Years of Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 3 years of experience in the financial services industry, with exposure to regulatory compliance, risk management, AML, fraud analytics, or related areas
    • Experience in data analytics or datadriven roles is preferred

    Required Skills:

    • Knowledge of financial services operations, regulatory compliance, risk management, AML, and fraud detection processes
    • Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques, such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS
    • Understanding of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to effectively communicate insights
    • Awareness of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in AML, fraud prevention, risk management, and compliance (e.g., KYC, CDD, EDD)
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams
    • Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
    • Selfmotivated and proactive, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the analytics team in conducting data analysis, modeling, and visualization to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies related to regulatory compliance, risk, AML, and fraud activities
    • Assist in developing and implementing analytics strategies and initiatives to enhance regulatory compliance, risk management, AML, and fraud detection capabilities
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including compliance, risk management, legal, and IT, to ensure alignment and integration of analytics solutions
    • Stay uptodate with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the financial services analytics space
    • Assist in providing insights and recommendations based on datadriven analysis to support decisionmaking and risk mitigation efforts
    • Contribute to the development of reports, presentations, and other deliverables to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
    • Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to AML, fraud prevention, risk management, and regulatory compliance
    • Support the team in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the analytics team
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and contribute to the development of tailored analytics solutions to address their challenges in regulatory compliance, risk management, AML, and fraud detection
