    ABOUTTHE ROLE:As a MigrationEngineer you will play a critical role in ensuring a smoothtransition of customers monitoring and observabilityinfrastructure. Your expertise in various other observability toolscoupled with a strong understanding of PromQL will be essential insuccessfully migrating alerts and dashboards optimizing systemperformance and enhancing the customers monitoring capabilities.You will collaborate with the customers crossfunctional teamsunderstand their requirements design migration strategies executethe migration process and provide training and support throughoutthe engagement.
    ROLESAND RESPONSIBILITIES Migration Strategy: Develop acomprehensive plan for migrating customers existing alerts anddashboards to us considering system requirements dependencies andpotential impact on existing infrastructure. AlertConfiguration: Configure and finetune alerting rulesthresholds and conditions in it based on the customers existingalerts ensuring an accurate translation of monitoring logic. Dashboard Migration:Migrate the customers dashboards to it reimaginevisualizations and ensure data accuracy consistency and optimalperformance in the new environment. Documentation: Create detailedtechnical documentation and guides for the migration processincluding stepbystep procedures best practices and troubleshootingguidelines tailored to the customers environment. Training andSupport: Provide training sessions and workshops toeducate the customers stakeholders on the usage of it includingconfiguring alerts building dashboards and leveraging PromQL foradvanced querying and analysis. Collaboration: Collaborate closelywith the customers crossfunctional teams including DevOpsEngineering and Operations to understand their specific monitoringneeds gather requirements and ensure alignment during the migrationprocess. Troubleshooting:Investigate and resolve issues related to alertsdashboards and overall monitoring functionality in it ensuring thesystems reliability and accuracy for the customer.     REQUIREMENTS ProfessionalExperience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as aSystems Engineer DevOps Engineer or similar roles with a focus onmonitoring alerting and observability solutions. Observability Expertise:Good knowledge and handson experience with 2 or moreObservability platforms including alert configuration dashboardcreation and infrastructure monitoring. PromQL Proficiency: Good understandingand practical experience with PromQL Prometheuss query language forquerying metrics and creating custom dashboards. Person would alsoneed to learn Dataprime and Lucene syntax on the job. Monitoring Concepts:Solid understanding of monitoring conceptsmethodologies and best practices including alerting strategiesmetric collection and log analysis. Troubleshooting Skills: Excellentproblemsolving and debugging skills to diagnose issues identifyroot causes and propose effective solutions. CommunicationSkills: Strong English verbal and writtencommunication skills to collaborate with the customerscrossfunctional teams deliver training sessions and create cleartechnical documentation. Analytical Thinking: Ability toanalyze complex systems identify inefficiencies or gaps and proposeoptimized monitoring solutions. Availability: Ability to also workacross US and European timezones This is awork from office role
    MUSTHAVE TMM Would be handlingthe team of TME s. Minimum 2 years of Team handling experience is amust. Should have good command on the mentioned requirements. Minimum 2 years of exp in Grafanaprometheus promQL is mandatory. Should knowBuilding dashboards migration alerts management etc. Exp in observability monitoring tools is amust (new relic splunk data dog sumologic app dynamics etc are suchtools) Background could be SRE (sitereliability engineer/Platform engineering/Devops) Normal shift environment but once or twicea week they could be taking US customer calls which will be littlelate in the night in that case it will be work from home. Candidate should sound serious about thejob that he/she is applying for during the time of conversationwith the HR spoc.
