    Manager - Commercial Excellence and Strategy


    Position purpose:

    • Foster collaboration across all levels within diverse functions including business units, operations, Finance, Legal Compliance, and Global functions to implement activities related to commercial strategy, pricing strategies, and digital initiatives.
    • Assist in developing short and longterm strategic plans for business units.
    • Oversee and optimize launch excellence processes for new products/indications.
    • Offer market insights and competitive intelligence to support strategic decisions and Business development.
    • Collaborate with digital service providers to propose innovative solutions to business challenges.
    • Provide support on marketing excellence, enhancing digital capabilities, and aligning BSP & BEP processes.
    • Develop forecasting models to assess inmarket cases and evaluate the viability of new product launches.

    • Country Leadership, Sales and Marketing Leadership, Finance, IT, Medical & Regulatory, Operations, Distribution
    • Above-Market Functions (Area, Region, and Global)
    • External customers
    • MR agencies, Consultants, Digital service providers

    Key Result Areas/Outputs:

    • Lead and execute strategic projects in new product planning, business case development, and strategy.
    • Develop business cases for new products and opportunities.
    • Gain an understanding of market potential, unmet needs, and gotomarket strategy for new products, and projectmanage critical processes for new launches.
    • Coordinate with the global pricing team to deliver a robust Pricing Approval Request with necessary market research and business case.
    • Assist the Managing Director on special projects and corporate initiatives.
    • Produce highquality market research outputs to support marketing teams in making strategic and tactical decisions.
    • Provide insights into marketing variables, operating environment, and customer behavior regularly to guide the creation of business plans, optimize existing products and services, and capture early market trends and signals.
    • Support Marketing, Communication Excellence (CommEx), and Finance teams in understanding market performance and trends to aid in brand forecasts, business planning, new product planning, and other decisionmaking processes.
