    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the design and engineering of solar tracker systems, including electrical, mechanical, and structural components, from concept through production.
    • Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts for tracker control systems, including motor drives, sensors, PLCs, and communication interfaces.
    • Conduct structural analysis and design calculations to ensure the integrity and stability of tracker support structures, considering factors such as wind loads, snow loads, and seismic conditions.
    • Perform feasibility studies, simulation analysis, and prototyping to evaluate design concepts, identify potential risks, and validate engineering solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of design solutions into production processes.
    • Perform engineering work using Finite elements and CAD software to solve problems in Tracker and Fixed Structure Calculation and Design.
    • Provide technical support to the sales team during client meetings & engagements.
    • Answer the related requirements and questions requested by customers on technology, quality assurance, etc.
    • Travel to customer sites, suppliers, and 3rd party testing facilities, as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical and structural engineering, with a focus on renewable energy projects, preferably in the solar industry.
    • Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, SAP2000 or similar tools for electrical and structural analysis.
    • Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to electrical systems (e.g., NEC, IEEE) and structural engineering (e.g., IBC, ASCE, IS code).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analytically to resolve complex engineering challenges.
    • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
