    Role Description

    This is a full-time remote role for a Founding Engineer specialized in AI/ML. As a Founding Engineer, you will be responsible for mission-critical projects, including building and monitoring the Bolna platform, onboarding and supporting customers as well as leading 0-to-1 projects in extremely new-age tech (self-hosting and fine-tuning LLM / TTS, building speech-to-speech synthesis etc.)

    Important Note : You will be the first Full Time Hire of Bolna, so that comes with tons of ownership, great ESOPs and insane bragging rights (of course, along with a lot of responsibilities)

    Mandatory Qualifications

    • >3 Years of experience in building in AI/ML Technologies
    • Experience with Voice AI - ASR / TTS Technologies
    • Experience with optimising inference for ASR / TTS models
    • Experience with Pytorch, Transformers and Huggingface ecosystem

    Preferable Qualifications

    • Contributions and Enthusiasm in working on open source systems
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
    • Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and speech recognition
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Strong communication and collaborative skills
    • Ability to work independently and remotely
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a Tier 1 College (not at all mandatory :D )
