    Job Overview

    We are seeking a passionate and experienced IB EYP Homeroom Teacher to join our team at Teacher Pool. As an IB EYP Homeroom Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young learners. This is a full-time position located in Koramangala, Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
    • IB EYP certification or training.
    • Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience working as an IB EYP Homeroom Teacher.
    • Passionate about early years education and dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
    • Excellent knowledge of the IB EYP curriculum and its implementation.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
    • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
    • Organizational skills to effectively plan and manage classroom activities.
    • Team player with a collaborative approach to work.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for the IB EYP curriculum.
    • Establish a safe and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and encouraged.
    • Facilitate the holistic development of students by designing activities that promote their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
    • Provide continuous support and guidance to students to foster their independence and confidence.
    • Monitor and assess students' progress and provide regular feedback to parents.
    • Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to enhance the overall learning experience.
    • Participate in professional development activities to stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and IB EYP requirements.
    • Maintain accurate student records and prepare reports as required by the school.
    • Attend parent-teacher meetings and actively engage with parents to discuss students' progress and address any concerns.
    • Contribute to the school community by actively participating in school events and initiatives.
