Position:

As a Robotics Engineering Intern at AlgoBotix, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our dynamic team of robotics engineers on cutting-edge projects. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in the field of robotics, allowing you to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. You will contribute to the development and enhancement of robotic systems, gaining exposure to various aspects of the robotics lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and prototyping of robotic systems: Work closely with senior engineers to contribute to the design and prototyping phases of robotic projects.
• Programming and software development: Collaborate on programming tasks, including coding, debugging, and testing robotic systems using languages such as Python, C++, or ROS.
• Hardware integration: Gain experience in integrating sensors, actuators, and other hardware components into robotic systems.
• Testing and troubleshooting: Support the testing and validation of robotic systems, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of design, development, and testing activities for future reference.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and software developers, to achieve project goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends: Stay informed about the latest advancements in robotics technology and contribute ideas for innovation within the team.

Qualifications:

• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Technical skills:
• Programming experience in languages such as Python, C++, or ROS.
• Familiarity with robotic hardware components and systems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Communication skills: Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Initiative: Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for robotics and a willingness to take on new challenges.
• Team player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
