We are looking for suitable candidate for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Symbiosis Open Education Society (SOES), Model colony, Pune who will monitor all accounts activities like Financial Planning, Budget Preparation, comparing the budgetary provisions with actual expenditures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning, Budget Preparation and Monitoring by comparing the budgetary provisions with actual expenditures.
• Monitor all day-to-day accounts activities.
• Regular monitoring of revenue & expenditure and taking necessary actions pertaining to the same.
  • Initiate and sustain cost control measure.
• To carry out financial and variance analysis
• Fund management & investment of funds by ensuring good returns.
• Handling tax related matters and representation to tax authority.
• Preparation and submission of regular MIS to management.
• Submission of financial data, presentation, analysis etc. to the management from time to time.
• To carry out requisite Statutory Compliances.
• To undertake statutory and internal audit in association with the Statutory and Internal Auditor.
• Liaison with bank authorities, government offices, major suppliers, contractors and business partners.
• Submission of recommendations in investment and procurement decisions.
• Regular reporting to management on financial matters.

Qualifications:

• CA Qualified
• 15 years of work experience post CA.
• Managed complete accounts & finance functions with a medium size team.
• Should be well-versed with IT laws & taxation.
• Working experience with any Trust or NGO would be a plus.
