    Consultant -Java, Selenium, API automation, and DB testingWe are looking for a highly skilled Lead Consultant with expertise in Java, Selenium, API automation, and database testing to lead our consulting engagements and drive technical excellence within our team.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, test automation, and quality assurance methodologies, coupled with exceptional leadership and communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead consulting projects and engagements, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and providing strategic guidance on testing strategies, automation frameworks, and quality assurance processes.
    • Architect, design, and implement robust test automation solutions using Java, Selenium, and API testing frameworks to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of software applications.
    • Develop and maintain automated test suites for API endpoints and database interactions, leveraging tools and libraries such as RestAssured and JDBC.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and project managers, to define testing requirements, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement in software quality.
    • Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and troubleshooting to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of test automation scripts and frameworks.
    • Mentor and coach junior consultants and team members, providing technical guidance, sharing knowledge, and fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software testing and quality assurance, and apply relevant methodologies and tools to enhance testing processes and practices.
    Qualifications

    Minimum qualifications we seek in you

    • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience in software development, quality assurance, and test automation, with a focus on Java, Selenium, API testing, and database testing.
    • Strong proficiency in Java programming language, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks and libraries.
    • expertise in Selenium WebDriver for web application testing, including page object model (POM) design patterns and browser automation.
    • Experience with API testing frameworks such as RestAssured, Postman, or SOAPUI, and proficiency in testing RESTful and SOAP web services.
    • Solid understanding of database concepts, SQL querying, and experience in database testing using JDBC or similar libraries.
    Preferred qualifications

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution in a collaborative team environment.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Leadership experience, including leading teams, managing projects, and driving technical initiatives to successful completion.
    • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, Java certifications) are a plus.
