    Description
    Vendor Program Management
    The Vendor Program Management job supervises professional employees that are responsible for the day-to-day activities related to the organization's vendor program framework, reporting, and governance structure for an assigned area. This job builds and maintains relationships with the vendors and third-party service providers, and ensures compliance with the organization's policies, procedures, and regulations. This job also collaborates with business partners to complete program activities across the vendor portfolio, and provides performance oversight for all vendor lifecycle phases. As a team manager, this job sets goals and objectives for team members and ensures policies and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports.

    Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Approves and enhances the vendor management framework, and defines the culture of vendor risk management for the organization.
  • Develops vendor management policies and procedures to align with the organization's guidelines and regulations.
  • Oversees the day-to-day vendor management program, including training, tools, and systems, to ensure program compliance.
  • Monitors vendor performance, and reports program metrics and key risk indicators to the management team.
  • Establishes processes for audit and regulatory responses as well as reporting for vendor management programs.
  • Collaborates with multiple departments on vendor-related matters, and promotes reliable and effective vendor relationships to support operations across the organization.
  • Identifies opportunities for program enhancements, process improvements, and other functional changes within the vendor programs.
  • Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation and development of team.
