Job Title : Physiotherapist ( MPT Only ) - Neuro / Ortho / Cardio

JOB PURPOSE

Evaluates patient, develops treatment plan and goals and implements appropriate professional physiotherapy procedures and modalities, and carry out related duties as required.

Role & responsibilities

• Ability to clinically evaluate patient, independent clinical decision making abilities or as per under the guidance of immediate supervisor and administer the modalities and procedures with high clinical skill of performance
• Ensure service excellence with high standard of patient care and as per the organisational guidelines
• Plans and administers standard diagnostic
• examination of muscles, nerves, joints and functional abilities, and should be able to co-relate clinically with the investigations.
• Plans treatment objectives and programs according to the results of evaluation.
• Designs and constructs, or directs construction of assistive devices like braces, splints, walking aids for mobilisation
• Possess sound clinical knowledge in interacting with patients caregiver with maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Directs and aids patients in exercises and functional training using appropriate devises and equipment.
• Evaluates patients response and progress, and discusses with appropriate physician as and when required.
• Records treatments given and updates appropriate records daily.
• Records patients progress on timely manner
• Cares for and maintains department and treatment areas.
• Takes part in departmental functions and activities as required, including non-professional and clerical tasks relevant to the departments operations.
• Maintain good & healthy relations with other professionals, physicians, supportive personnel, patients, patients relatives and public.
• Directs and supervises the activities of the physiotherapy aids, assistants, students
• To ensure that ethical professional practice is followed.
• Knowledge of safe and proper operations of all equipment.
• Assumes responsibility for the alert attention to the optimum function and maintenance of the physiotherapy equipment.
• To participate in all clinical and service delivery trainings as initiated by the organization and show complete adherence to all protocols being shared.
• To Comply with the service quality Process, environmental & occupational issues & policies of the respective area
• To Comply with patient safety policy
• To ensure safe utilization of equipment and proper waste disposal system.
• To ensure support to the supervisor in inventory management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

Possession of MPT from reputable institution recognized by IAP & DCPT

Experience

• 3+ years experience in reputed hospital or Clinic with documents to support the same

Technical Skills

• Good clinical knowledge
• Good PT diagnostic & clinical management acumen
• Fluent with relevant equipment handling
