    ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


    staff and business goalsbudget for area of control, assure compliance to budget direction, develop estimation and planning for validation workloadbusiness plan targets for specific area of activityhuman resources.

    Develop staffing plan, lead selection of new employees, define the strategic employees' development plan and act accordinglyand manage the technical, organizational as well as personal development, including appraisal, promotion, team building and task assignmentdisciplinary and personnel responsibilityrelationship and partnership to adjacent areasmanage and monitor external resources according to company guidelines and contract Manage domain specific the validation deliverables according to quality, cost, schedule, performancethe definition of domain specific deliverables, being consistent with the global strategy for optimization of vehicle benefit and costall validation activities to ensure timely product execution and flawless launches (e.g. alignment with functions outside the own area of control)all activities to develop detailed technical validation solutions, e.g. automationissue management, lead change management, ensure reporting and escalation of critical issuescompliance with established company processescost reduction activities Tools & Processes, Efficiencycommunication with all process stakeholders for identifying particular tools/processes and efficiency optimization on projectsto implement execution of identified tools and processes optimizations, improving the efficiency


    RELATIONSHIPS


    to the functional manager and hierarchical interfacing organizational units within the own core function as well as outside of the own core function.

    Interacts with project leads and managers of external companies for project monitoring and the support functions. KNOWLEDGE University degree (Master or similar) on technical subject area (e.g., Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics). Job holder is required to have expert knowledge on vehicle electrical systems, embedded controller software and the applicable validation methodology (methods and holder is required to have long term experience in people leadership as well as people development.oriented and structured method of operation.

    Ability to take decisions on short notice and under high stress understand complex technical concepts and to identify respective advantages and disadvantages and build and lead efficient and effective teams with team members from various stand for and defend viewpoints in global development/validation boards.

    Ability to cope with managerial responsibility and to lead the employees according to the strategic company work in a technical and economic area of tension.
