    We're seeking a future team member for the role of

    Associate, Data Management & Quantitative Analysis I

    to join our corporate trust – Analytics team. This role is located in Chennai /Pune - HYBRID/REMOTE.

    In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

    Position Summary - This position is responsible for analyzing and understanding deal requirements and then building/programming computer models to reflect those requirements.

    The incumbent will be required to read and understand deal related legal documentation and identify the relevant details and information to enable them to create the deal model in BNY proprietary tools/Excel.

    In addition, the Analyst will provide support and ongoing maintenance for existing deal models using both bespoke and proprietary systems.

    This role supports and assists the Client onshore to ensure delivery of good client service by accurate and timely completion of Shadow/Modeling Deals.

    The quality and timeliness directly affect how the organization is perceived by our clients.

    To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
    Minimum Education - bachelor's degree in finance (Commerce), Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other related discipline.

    Preferred Education - Post Graduate in Finance (MBS Finance) /CFA (US)Preferred Experience-yearsPreferred Technical Skills- Knowledge of Microsoft Access SQL, VB & VBA Skills, or similar database and query writing experience is required.

    Functional skills-(i) In depth understanding of structured finance concepts and at least one of the asset classes is a must.(ii) Understanding of basic financial instruments (Bonds, Loans, Swaps, etc.) and capital market in general is required.

    Other Skills- Strong oral & written communication skills. Ability to interface and obtain strong working knowledge of portfolio of deals and accounts.
