Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Strategy & Compliance

Lead end-to-end regulatory compliance for the Foods portfolio, ensuring adherence to FSSAI, Legal Metrology, and other applicable Indian and global regulations.

Proactively monitor, interpret, and communicate regulatory changes (FSSAI notifications, labelling, claims, fortification, food safety, etc.) to business stakeholders.

Support the team to develop and execute regulatory strategies for new product launches, reformulations, and innovations, ensuring speed-to-market and risk mitigation.

Artwork approvals and compliance for Foods Portfolio.
FSSAI License documentation such as drafting of 'Statement of Ingredients (SOI), draft response to queries etc.
Ensuring Raw material compliance-existing and new.
Support team in digital tools strategy and execution.
Nutrition & Claims Management
Ensure all product claims (nutrition, health, functional) are substantiated and compliant with FSSAI and international standards.
Partner with R&D and Marketing to develop consumer-relevant, compliant nutrition communication.
Lead regulatory input for product fortification, clean label, and responsible nutrition initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong internal partnerships with R&D, Quality, D&H, Legal, Marketing, Procurement and Supply Chain to enable compliant business growth.
Primary point of contact for license related Liasoning with external consultants, relevant state licensing officials.
Co-ordination with R&D, Legal and Supply chain for FSSAI License related requirements.
Risk Management & Training
Identify, document and support team to mitigate regulatory risks across the value chain.
Lead regulatory training and awareness programs for cross-functional teams.

Experience And Skills Required

2–7 years of hands-on experience in Regulatory Affairs in the FMCG industry.
Strong knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks (FSSAI, Nutrition, State FDA, Legal Metrology).
