    Description

    We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Defence Business Development Manager to spearhead the Group's expansion efforts. The ideal candidate has expertise selling defense, aerospace, missile equipment, components, composites, or sub-assemblies to the Defence and Aerospace industry.

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify and nurture new business prospects within the defense sector, leveraging established contacts and networks.
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance the company's footprint in the defense market.
    • Foster enduring relationships with key stakeholders, including governmental agencies, military personnel, and industry collaborators.
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams to craft competitive proposals and bids for defense contracts including gem tendering processes.
    • Remain abreast of industry dynamics, competitive landscapes, and regulatory shifts to inform tactical business decisions.
    • Serve as the company's ambassador at industry gatherings, conferences, and trade exhibitions, championing our offerings.
    • Provide regular updates and reports on business development initiatives, encompassing pipeline status and revenue projections.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on defense products and services, offering counsel and backing to internal teams as required.

    Requirements:

    • Former Defence officer preferred possessing an in-depth grasp of military operations business development and procurement procedures.
    • Proven track record of 5 to 15 years in business development within the defense sector, with a history of successfully securing contracts and alliances.
    • Extensive network of contacts within the defense industry, spanning governmental bodies, military circles, and industry partners.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal aptitude, adept at negotiation and influencing key stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute strategic business plans, with a focus on revenue augmentation and market expansion.
    • Driven and results-oriented, capable of working autonomously or collaboratively within a team setting.
    • Openness to travel as necessary for client meetings, engagements, and industry functions.

    Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech with Defence equipment/Aerospace equipment, composites, components

    Experience: business development experience in Defence, Aeronautical, space

    Preferred Age Range: 40-55 Years
