- Perform payroll and benefits related month-end activities including account reconciliations, journal entries, and internal controls.
- Partner with Accounting & Finance team on projects, financial audits, and financial reporting.
- Research and resolve out of balance conditions with internal teams and third parties including ADP, TMF Global payroll service, and Workday.
- As needed, meet with the Company's internal and external auditors on Payroll or Benefits internal controls.
- Serve as the single threaded owner for 401(K) match calculations.
- Participate on test teams for new payroll or benefits system functionality.
- Compile data as required for senior leadership analysis.
- Formalized Accounting education with extensive knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) standards;
- Three or more years of Accounting experience in Global Payroll environment;
- Prior Benefits experience and awareness of Benefits operations;
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Must be comfortable working in an office environment and reporting to a remote manager and global team.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Three or more years of Workday Payroll and/or Oracle experience
- Internal audit experience with a United States publicly traded company
- Exceptional writing skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Prior global payroll experience in a publicly traded company with +2,000 employees
- Experience with accounting for Restricted Stock Units as a compensation component
