doubling our positive impact on the environment and society by 2025.As part of the Global R&D System Architecture team of Public Segment, the System Architect will lead & drive the technical architecture of multi-disciplinary IoT systems.
The System Architect helps to identify architecture and platform opportunities such as required updates, phase-outs, or new options coming out to be prepared for handling disruption.
The system architecture group of Public R&D drives translation of vision and business strategy into an accepted (set of) reference architecture with the full value chain context.
This is essential to design & build robust, sustainable & state of the art solutions keeping the customer first as a key priority.

Be responsible for translating customer needs into technical requirements and then clearly defining the full system architecture
Identify architecture & platform opportunities to stay ahead in the game and launch (complex) products to the market
Define the current and the reference architecture
Define system/items/units (for example components) and their interfaces, crafting well-defined building blocks, system options, and scenarios
Support Global R&D roadmap, backlog grooming, and release planning
Act as a mentor and coach team towards deciding appropriate system and component design during implementations
Own & support implementation of the non-functional requirements of the system
Ensure good and up to date documentation of the architecture and implementation is available
Your qualifications

You bring the following experiences and competencies:Technology evangelist with a proven track recordMinimum 15+ years of experience5-10 years of system architecture experience in multi-disciplinary IoT systems
Functional Competencies:
Team player and strong communicatorDesign thinking & Analytical skillsKnowledge of the Lighting domain is an added advantageFluent written and verbal English skillsGreat communication, consensus-building, and stakeholder management skillsOpen for project-related travelA team player and passion for results
Technical Competencies:5+ years' experience with designing and executing enterprise-class, cloud-native solutions5+ years' experience with designing and executing embedded Connected productsExpert-level understanding of any of the IoT Full stack eg: cloud technologies, connectivity, network stacks, embedded firmware & hardwareExperience with MySQL, Redis, Java 11, Sprint Boot, Angular, JavaScript, CSS, HTML 5Experience with embedded C and embedded Linux
