    Description

    Location: Bangalore

    Experience:15 Years and above. Previous experience in the construction of Apartments in the role of Construction Manager or Project Manager would be preferable.

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar specialization. A Master's in Civil Engineering/ Construction Management will be an added advantage but not compulsory

    Job Purpose:

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Construction Manager to oversee all aspects of our building project, including meeting with project partners and managing supervisors and teams. The Manager (Construction) will be responsible for ensuring all objectives and standards are met, and for finding solutions to problems as they arise. The Construction Manager will ensure all equipment and materials are available on-site as needed.

    To be successful as a Construction Manager, you should have in-depth knowledge of construction management and be familiar with health and safety regulations. To be successful in this role, you should ensure the project is planned in a manner that meets all objectives as defined by the management team, and ensure it is completed on time and within budget. Top candidates will be skillful delegators, adept at identifying crucial aspects of the project and prioritizing them— while staying on top of all other aspects of the project.

    Job Responsibility :

    • Work closely with engineers, architects, and contractors on an ongoing basis regarding project objectives and progress
    • Managing and motivating site supervisors and teams
    • Ensuring all equipment needed is available on-site
    • Ensuring budgeted costs relating to wages, contractors, materials, and equipment are not exceeded
    • Submitting purchase requests to the management team for consideration
    • Ensuring the construction process starts and ends on time and ensuring daily and weekly deadlines are met
    • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and all other regulations
    • Conducting ongoing quality inspections
    • Should be experienced in High Rise building construction/ apartment complexes
    • Attend to any other ad-hoc projects and duties as required by the management
    • Ensure all changes to specifications, work scope, and drawings are documented and adequately communicated to the supervisors and staff
    • Define clear roles & responsibilities and deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule to all the team members

    Skills Required:

    • Understanding and hands-on experience of the latest construction processes, principles, materials, and tools.
    • Excellent leadership abilities.
    • Good time management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to communicate clearly.
    • Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    Languages: Kannada, Hindi, English. Working knowledge of Telugu and Tamil is preferable but not compulsory.
